It’s No Small Thing

It’s no small thing

To say come here

I’ve got you

Again and again and again

To hold space for the emotions

That need the chance to exude

Lets not hold them

Store them in

The tissues or your cells

Let them out

Express themselves

There’s healing there you see

Our organs, our joints

Our hearts and souls

Need freedom to just be

You were taught to hold it in

Not be the authentic you

But now you have your own little person

For them you have the strength

Hold them close

Let them cry

They’ve got to get it out

You’re building that trust

An archetype

of health and inner peace

You’ll never regret

The investment you make

In this human brain

The confidence, love and

Security to come

Will surely be

A rare and exquisite gift

To a world in need
